Festival of contemporary photography "FIXAGE" announces the Open International Photo Contest "(For)fix the world! - 2020", which will be held online on the Festival website (http://fixfest.ru/) from February 15 to March 8, 2020. The theme of the Photo Contest is "If something isn't right". Participation in the contest is free. The prize fund will amount to 250,000 rubles.
Three words of the contest theme are the three key points of any surprise.
With the word "if" almost always starts to develop some strange situation. The word "something" is most often something incomprehensible, unusual and not like everyone else. Well, the word "netak" doesn't exist at all. But the most different and unusual "netaks" - full of them.
We are waiting for the work that captures the events causing a good smile and photos that show something that looks wrong. Anything that disrupts the normal order and the usual course of things.
Any photographer, regardless of professional affiliation and place of residence, aged 18 or older, may participate in the contest. The competition has no genre restrictions, works of all photographic diversity can take part in it: photographic landscape, photo-animalistic, psychological portrait, city-photo, staging and advertising photography, travel photography, still life, genre photography and many others.
Separate prizes from partners and organizers of the Festival are expected.
The winners will be announced on March 20 during the Photo Festival "FIXAGE".
Photographic works that became the winners and laureates of the competition, will take part in the photo exhibition "(For)fix the world!", which will be held in the framework of the festival "Fixage-2020" from March 20 to April 5, 2020 in the Central Hall of the Union of Russian Artists (Moscow, Krymsky Val, 10, west wing of the New Tretyakovka, 4th floor).
