Deadline: November 15, 2020
Artists and photographers over 18 are invited to participate in the annual contest of the International Gallery. 2D works made in any technique are accepted. The competition is dedicated to the blue color. The winners are awarded money prizes. This color symbolizes many different things and emotions. Often it reflects harmony, loyalty, trust, distance, infinity, imagination, cold, sometimes sadness.
The contest theme can be expressed in different ways, and the organizers are looking forward to your interpretation.
The results will be announced on November 22. The final online exhibition will take place in December.
Organizer: Colors of Humanity, an online art gallery that can offer artists a number of advantages over a traditional gallery. No commission, international promotion without transportation costs, traffic to your site, no risk to damage the work!
Charity: 10% of all registration fees will be transferred to the non-profit organization Natural High ( http://naturalhigh.org). The organization works with young people, inspiring them to say "no" to alcohol and drugs.
The jury, Janelle Cogan, will evaluate the originality, quality, creativity and artistic expression.
Registration fee: $20 for 1-2 works. If you want, you can submit more works (make additional applications).
All accepted works will be exhibited on the official website with the names of the authors, name, contacts (site or mail). The author marked as "Best of Show" will be promoted separately and more noticeably.
Sales: If visitors to the gallery want to purchase the works, the transaction is made directly between the buyer and the artist. The gallery is not involved in the sale process and does not charge any commission.
Requirements for works:
- The image should not be heavier than 2 mb.
- The image must not contain frames, substrates or watermarks (frame, mat, or watermark).
- The name of the file should be prepared in a sample manner: LastName-FirstName-TitleofArt.jpeg (Surname Name)
- The image must be clear and in focus: it represents your work and will be displayed / evaluated by the jury as received.
