CENTER, an organization based in Santa Fe, New Mexico, announces an open call for photographers for 2020 competitions and grants; applications are open in the following categories.
A $5,000 PROJECT LAUNCH GRANT
The $5,000 grant is for completed or near-completed documentary and art photography projects.
Jury: Dr. Rebecca Senf, Chief Curator at the Center for Creative Photography, Photography Curator at the Phoenix Art Museum

$5,000 GRANT TO DEVELOP THE PROJECT
The grant offers $5,000 in financial support for the development of documentary and art photography projects. The projects should be in the development stage (WORK-IN-PROGRESS).
Jury: Erin O'Toole - Associate Curator of the Baker Street Foundation for Photography at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.

$5,000 me&EVE AWARD Award
A $5,000 award for a feminist photographer aged 40 years and over. It must be a person who uses his or her camera to appeal to social justice.
*Trangender, non-binary and third gender applications are welcome.

THREE-CHOICE AWARD (THREE CHOICE AWARDS)
The Choice Awards recognize outstanding photographers who work with all processes and themes. Images for the competition can be individual or part of a series. There are three categories: curator selection, director and editor selection. First, second and third places are awarded in each category.

Curator selection: Marina Chao, assistant curator, ICP
Director's choice: Ruben Esparza, curator; director, quirky biennale.
Editor's Choice: Nicole Verback, Senior Editor at Visuals & Engagement, NPR

MEDIA AWARD
This award recognizes multimedia artists and choreographers who work in various techniques.

PORTFOLIO REVIEW at the PHOTO FESTIVAL IN SANTA FE
CENTER's main event is to view the portfolio at a conference and festival for photographers who want to expand their audience, critical discussion and communication with the community.
