Mother Art Prize 2020 - international prize for women and nonbinari artists

The British art organization Procreate Project has launched the third season of the Mother Art Prize 2020 - the only international award for women and non-binari artists who combine their artistic practice with care for children. The aim of the prize is to promote and support mother artists, as well as to draw public attention to a wide range of topics that are not adequately covered. The prize is designed for artists specializing in painting, drawing, mixed techniques, photography, digital art, sculpture, ceramics, art, video and sound installations, as well as textiles - without thematic restrictions.

Awards:

Representation: Group show of 20 artists in Elephant West, the venue of Elephant Art Magazine in West London [6-29 November 2020], sale of works in Procreate Project online showroom and coverage in Elephant Art Magazine.

Winner's Award: £500 + two-week solo exhibition at The Showroom in summer 2021.

International Awards: Four-week residence at White House Dagenham [in partnership with Create London] + £500 worth of art materials from Colart

Online Award: Online exhibition at Richard Saltoun Gallery [September 2020] + 2 sessions with mentor Sylvie Gormezano, director of Picture this productions and chairman of Association of Women Art Dealers (AWAD).

The winner and the artists whose works were selected for the group exhibition will be announced in May 2020.
