A unique opportunity only for artists of START projects and Open Studios to go to a residence in Belgium.
Deadline for applications: February 16, 2020
Residence Dates: 18 May - 26 June 2020
Artists who are interested in working with different printing techniques are invited.
Frans Masereel Centrum is a centre for contemporary art in Flemish Belgium, founded in 1972. One of the main tricks of the centre is to experiment in the workshop with different printing techniques - analogue and digital. According to the program of the residence, artists will be able to work with screen printing and laser cutting, as well as explore the relationship between printing production and other artistic forms. Today FMC is a multi-profile laboratory where graphic applications are expanded, reformatted and demonstrated. It is a unique platform for the public, for artists and for their work.
