Announced open call for artists of START projects and Open studios in the Belgian residence of Frans Masereel Centrum
A unique opportunity only for artists of START projects and Open Studios to go to a residence in Belgium.

Artists who are interested in working with different printing techniques are invited.
Frans Masereel Centrum is a centre for contemporary art in Flemish Belgium, founded in 1972. One of the main tricks of the centre is to experiment in the workshop with different printing techniques - analogue and digital. According to the program of the residence, artists will be able to work with screen printing and laser cutting, as well as explore the relationship between printing production and other artistic forms. Today FMC is a multi-profile laboratory where graphic applications are expanded, reformatted and demonstrated. It is a unique platform for the public, for artists and for their work.

Terms and conditions:
The artist is provided with accommodation, space for work and basic materials. In addition, the residence organizes meetings with local artists, designers and tutors.
Complex experiments with printing techniques (such as working with a risograph) are paid for by the artist himself.
To participate in the competition for the residence you have to send it:
-Portfolio (PDF format) in English
-CV (WORD or PDF format) in English (be sure to list personal and group exhibitions)
-File with the subject matter and detailed description of the proposed project to be implemented in the Frans Masereel Centrum Residence: project purpose, execution technique, etc. - in English or Russian
-Motion letter (why did you choose Frans Masereel Centrum residence) - in English or Russian
