Open-call for the seventh session of the Factory Workshops program from CTI FABRICA
CTI FABRICA Open Competition
The deadline for submission of applications is 10 January 2020.
CTI "Factory" opens open-call for the seventh session of the program "Factory workshops". Artists wishing to take part in the competition should send an application for a workshop and / or show their project in the factory spaces by January 10, 2020. Authors over 35 years of age with at least 3 years of work experience are invited to participate. The organizers welcome both interdisciplinary projects and works of the same genre. According to the results of the competition, the winners are provided with a studio with payment of utility costs and/or a budget for the production of the work or works made in the studio (up to 20,000 rubles). The result of work in the workshop will be the implementation of the project / exhibition in the spaces of the "Factory" in 2020.
THE TERMS OF THE COMPETITION:
January 10, 2020 - the last day of acceptance of applications,
January 31, 2020 - announcement of the winners of the contest,
01 - 14 February 2020 - meetings and interviews with the winners,
February 15 - December 30, 2020 - arrival and work in workshops, exhibitions of nominees.
CONDITIONS:
Workshops at the Factory are intended for professional artists working in various techniques. In 2019-2020 the workshops are intended for professional artists working in various techniques. The factory will consider applications from artists aged 35 to 55 (mid-career artists).
Preference is given to personal projects. Curatorial group projects are not considered.
The final implementation, the premiere of the project submitted for participation in the competition, as well as the presence of the author on the site during the installation and opening of the exhibition are mandatory.
Within the framework of project preparation it is possible to provide curatorial support.
The artist is obliged to provide the organizers with the formed budget of the project (not more than 20.000 rubles for realization).
CTI Factory does NOT provide accommodation for the program participants.
THAT SHOULD INCLUDE THE APPLICATION FORM:
The application should include a CV, a portfolio (with links to completed or shown works, photos and videos), a motivational letter, a description or a project plan (up to 1,000 characters), for which the workshop is requested, indicating the category of interest. All of the above information is mandatory for acceptance of the application.

The winners will be announced on January 31, 2020.
Applications that do not include all items will not be considered.
