Siena International Photography Awards 2020
Deadline: 15 January 2020
The work of the jury will start on February 1 and end on April 1. Candidates for victory will be named on April 24, 2020.
The award ceremony with the announcement of names will be held in Siena (October 24, 2020). Then the month of exhibitions and other festival events is announced.
The prestigious international jury of more than 20 people will be announced later. In the past, the judges have included world-renowned photographers such as Ami Vitale, Timothy Allen, David Shultz and Alex Noriega, Dave Black, David LLoyd, Tim Clayton, Karen Kasmauski and Melissa Farlow.
The main winner will be awarded a trophy - the crystal ball Pangea; it is a drop of light, a work of art made by the Tuscan artist Carlo Pizzichini, a symbol of the unification of continents, peoples and cultures.
Awards will also be given: SIPAContest Storyboard Winner; SIPAContest Category Winner and SIPAContest Under 20 Winner; 2nd and 3rd places in each category and SIPAContest Honorable Mention Winner.
