The New York Photo Arts Center (NYC4PA) invites amateur and professional photographers from all over the world to a competition dedicated to water. The winners will receive a $3,000 prize fund, participation in the New York Gallery Exhibition, online demonstration and catalogue. The winner of the Grand Prix will be shown on the main page of the official NYC4PA website. The winning authors and jury will also be invited to JADITE GALLERY (April 2020, Hell's Kitchen District, Manhattan). Everyone will be awarded certificates.

About the theme of the competition:

Water is everywhere, everywhere, and it is the most important part of our lives. How will you capture it in a photo? It's a sparkling drop from the polar bear as it shakes off. She's in the surfer's curls or the smooth surface of the river, where the ship slowly glides. Tears, rain, dew, drifting ice floes, waterfalls and serene lakes. The list goes on. Black and white, color, abstract, experimental, mixed - all kinds and techniques of photos are accepted.

About the jury:

Mark Sink is an art consultant in charge of local and international photography events. Mark is the co-founder of the Denver Museum of Modern Art and organizer of the Photography Month in Denver. He oversees the Street Art Project (Big Picture) and the Denver Collage Club. His art photographs are exhibited all over the world. Awards:

A total of 10 winners with cash prizes, 15 participants with the status of "Juror Selections" and 20 honorary mentions will be named.

Grand Prize: The photographer will receive $750. 

First Prize: 3 photographers will receive $300 each.

Second Prize: 3 photographers will receive $250 each. 

Third Prize: 3 photographers will each receive $200.

Contributions for participation

The registration fee is $35 per 3 images. Additional work can be sent by paying $10 per image. The maximum number is not limited.

Requirements for files: 

 - JPG, TIF or PNG, 1,280 pixels on the long side

 - Choose a unique name for each shot to easily distinguish it when announcing the results. In English and short, no special characters. A bad example: Tea Glass1, Tea Glass 2...
