OPEN CALL for skinners and photographers. MIA Photography Award, first season - "New-Post Photography? 

MIA Photo Fair is pleased to announce a new initiative for the upcoming 10th season. The competition is aimed at promoting creativity and innovation in the world of modern photography. Participation is open to all authors, without restriction by subject, age, gender or nationality. Winners will have the opportunity to participate for free in the 10th MIA Photo Fair (March 18-22, 2020) at The Mall in Milan.

The "New-Post Photography?" award aims to promote new languages in photography that can reflect the modern world in an innovative way.

The MIA Photo Fair was launched in 2011 thanks to the idea of Fabio Castelli. It is the most important art fair in Italy dedicated to artistic photography. 

During the last season, more than 25,000 guests visited the fair; 85 galleries, more than a third of which were foreign, and another 50 exhibitors, divided into special projects, media partners and publishers, were a total of 135 exhibitors on a 5,000 square meter site. 

Curatorial work for the award is carried out by Gigliola Foschi.
