"The Hydrostroy company was born on Iturup, and here it was getting back on its feet. The very name - "Hydrostroy" - contains the fact that we are builders. You can just put a fence, or you can - forged, beautiful. We are going on the second way. I have lived on Iturup for more than 30 years, for me the island is my homeland, home. We all go abroad, we see how something has been done there, and we want our house to be no worse or better," said Yuri SVETLIKOV, an inspirer of ideas, an honorary jury member of the First International Geodesy Contest "Iturup Style", General Director of JSC "Hydrostroy".

According to the regulation, from July 1 to July 30, 2020 on the largest island of the Kuril Ridge, about seven teams that have passed the competitive selection will be able to create and install their sculptures and objects.
