In 2017, SONY's International Photography Competition celebrated its tenth anniversary.
Winners will be able to travel to London for the award ceremony, where they will receive prizes.
The competition is held in such categories:
Professional photographers (https://www.worldphoto.org/ru/sony-world-photography-awards/2020/professional). In this category, single photos of 10 different categories are accepted, each photo must be accompanied by a brief description. (deadline: 14 January 2020)
Open category (https://www.worldphoto.org/ru/sony-world-photography-awards/2018/open). In this category, single images of 10 different categories (architecture, landscape, still life) are accepted. Each photo from this category automatically takes part in the national category - these are regional competitions held in different countries (deadline: January 7, 2020)
Youth (https://www.worldphoto.org/ru/sony-world-photography-awards/2017/youth). This category is open to young photographers aged 12 to 19 years. One photo is accepted. (deadline: 31 December 2009)
Student (https://www.worldphoto.org/ru/student-competition). This is a competition for photographers who study in the afternoon section of photography. (Deadline: 29 November 2019)
Every year, Sony's prize pool of $60,000 and equipment is shared by the winners of all categories.
Every spring, an exhibition of the winners is held in London.
