The International Festival of Contemporary Photography "Presence", organized by the Photo Department, will be held for the fourth time this year. It will take place on October 11-27 in St. Petersburg. The festival includes exhibitions, educational art-laboratories, discussions and lectures by invited artists, curators, media professionals, art and business environment, portfolio review and program of events - author's projects, actions and actions that connect and change the viewer's experience. The aim of the festival is to broaden the understanding of the professional environment and the general audience about the image by presenting photography as a combination of processes, modes, relationships, experiences and ways of perception.

This year's theme is "Collective". The festival team invites artists, curators, teams and everyone who wants to join the festival and offer their projects for participation in the group exhibition. Applications are accepted until September 15, 2019.
