Open call to the fourth Lab of Journalism at Winzavod
Winzavod's Laboratory of journalism is aimed at solving a key task - professional support of beginner journalists writing on the topic of modern culture, and is part of the direction of Vinzavod.obrazovanie. The project combines professional training and practice, providing participants with the opportunity to communicate directly with experts in the field of media and simultaneously publish texts on the official website.
The participants of the fourth laboratory will be immersed in the activities of the largest contemporary art institution Winzavod, practice in the leading mass media, and get acquainted with leading editors and journalists.
The laboratory consists of two main blocks. The first block is a remote one, in which lab assistants work individually with media experts. The second block includes an intensive session consisting of a series of workshops by media representatives.
In 2019, the leading Russian news agency TASS joined the Laboratory team. Today, the agency is not only the largest source of exclusive news about the cultural life of the country, but also the creator of unique multimedia projects aimed at the promotion of culture, which use the latest formats of information presentation. In the course of the classes, the agency's journalists will offer their listeners the actual topics of future publications and will give a professional assessment of the materials.
In addition to TASS, the Great Museum project is also part of the team of partners, which is being re-launched in the media format in autumn. Within the framework of the partnership, laboratory assistants will have the opportunity to work with museum collections and large art institutions.
A series of podcasts "School of Factoring" with the participation of project experts was published during the third Laboratory in cooperation with the Radio Faculty of Journalism of Moscow State University.

The journalists plunged into the device of the Open Studios of Vinzavod, talked to the graffiti artists of the Wall project, interviewed the curators of START and participated in a series of workshops on rethinking texts through body practices. Requirements for bidders:
1. Citizenship of the Russian Federation
2. Age at least 19 years
3. incomplete or higher education in humanitarian or media-related fields (pr and marketing)
4. upper-intermediate English at least
Conditions of participation:
1. Motivation letter with a total volume of no more than 1800 characters
2. A video of an average duration of 1 minute, with a short explanation of why you want to participate. The video can be filmed on any video recording device, including a mobile phone.
3. CV with information about the applicant: age, education, contact details, work experience (if any).
4. Portfolio of works: references to articles and videos of the applicant.
