Apila's First Printing Award

Deadline: 14 February 2020. No registration fees

This is a competition from a publishing house in Spain, for artists from all over the world, for those who do not yet have published books and who are looking for a way into the world of children's illustration. You are welcome to participate in illustrated children's book projects (in Spanish)
The winner's book will be published. The author will receive an award: € 4,000. 

From organization:  From Apila Ediciones we are committed to illustrators who try to make their way in the world of children’s illustration. Therefore we created the award PREMIO APILA PRIMERA IMPRESIÓN in 2013, aimed at illustrators who still do not have any children’s picture book published with ISBN (except for self-publishing). That way we want to give the professional opportunity to illustrators who deserve it for their talent and quality and boost their career with the publication of their first work.
