START opened the anniversary season with the exhibition Dasha Kuznetsova “Who is my real mother”
Dasha Kuznetsova combines her interest in psychiatry and neuroscience with practical study of mythological thinking. Her main tool is automatic drawing which allows to convey folklore, memory mechanics, sleep and borderline states. Kuznetsova renders ruins, abandoned buildings and hidden elements in the urban landscape as symbols of the unconscious mind.
