November 28 in red Workshop Winzavod opened a group exhibition of Opvs Modernvm, which is a dialogue between the academic and modern art. Its organizers-the Moscow Academic Art School (MAHU) and the Center for contemporary art WINERY. The exhibition was attended by artists Start Elena Martynenko Bogdan ABLOY. Curators of the exhibition-curator Kirill Preobrazhensky Start and fotgraf Mikhail Rozanov.

 

the concept of the project at the opening very accurately described Andrew Khreschate, head of the sculpture Department BLUNDER: “In our country, due to the peculiarities of the development of artistic processes, at the same time, there are two types of art — academic and modern. But, really, the art — one. Our exhibition — a way to convey this to young artists and every visitor of the exhibition”.

Exhibition Opvs Modernvm was the result of a summer internship in Italy, students BLUNDER with the participation of graduates of the project START. Young artists worked under the guidance of masters — artist Kirill Preobrazhensky, photographer Mikhail Rozanov and Director Eduard Boyakov. For the first ten days in Tuscany, were taken architectural photographs of Italy and a film in the style of commedia dell'arte all'improviso, which are presented at the exhibition. Over the exhibition, comprising more than 100 photographs, worked as a curator and Director of the Foundation for support of contemporary art "Winery" Lina Krasnyanskaya.

Among the guests at the opening of the exhibition was the artist Aidan Salakhova, artist Alexandra Vertinskaya, founder of the gallery “Triumph” Emelyan Zakharov, the founder and Director of the School of visual arts Natalia Udartseva, Director of the Institute of “Base” Svetlana Baskov, artists Dmitry Venkov, Proteus Dark, Alexander Plyusnin and others.
