27 July at 18:00 at the Winery will be open discussion “Young art in Moscow” and the presentation of the catalogue interdisciplinary project “Only a non-official language” (Center for contemporary art "Winzavod" and the Department of Research Arts). In discussion will participate the curator of the Start of the season 2015/2016 Kirill Preobrazhensky.

 

 

In the last week of an interdisciplinary exhibition project "unofficial language" (CSR WINERY, Shop White, 28.06-31.07.2016) will be a presentation of the catalog and the discussion about “young art in Russia”.

 

the exhibition presents the work and background of more than 30 young artists who grew up in the 90s and 00s and share certain values and leading a particular way of life. Exhibition allowed to look at young art through the eyes of the artists themselves and learn their point of view, as to who the young artist here and now, what they meant by "new art" and what is art, profession, or way of thinking.

 

Despite the fact that the category  “young artists” raises questions for artists, and art historians and critics, this language is firmly established in practice: are biennials, festivals, competitions and grants, there are forms of support for young art. About how appeared and developed "new art" is there a particular curation and promotion of “young artists” will tell the participants of the discussion.

Daria pyrkin – initiator and Chairman of the Expert Council of the Moscow international Biennale for young art, Deputy General Director of the NCCA for creative and educational activities, candidate of art criticism.

 

Kirill Preobrazhenskiy – painter, teacher at the School. Rodchenko, curator  of the season 2015/2016 platform young art “START”.

 

Dmitry Hankin – gallerist, art dealer and co-owner of the gallery “Triumph”.

 

Markov – a painter, a photographer, one of the pioneers of Russian art of new technologies, curator and lecturer of the School. Rodchenko.

 

Daria Kamyshnikova — curator, artist, head of the first educational institutions in Russia in the field of contemporary art the contemporary art School " Free workshops”.
