Artists Start came in the top of the most notable young artists newspaper Art Newspaper Russia

the editors of the Art Newspaper Russia conducted a study on the lives of young artists and ranked the most famous and promising artists under the age of 35 years. Ten experts gave the names of ten artists they think are the most worthy.

the list includes artists Start Evgeny Antufiev, Tatiana Akhmetgalieva, Alexander Obrazumov, Kirill Makarov, Ilya Grishaev, Ivan Novikov, Ivan Gorshkov.

the Story is partly about the lost connection of a human with archaic myth and the possibility of their interaction today.

Evgeny Antufyev is a kind of protection, a cocoon, separating the artist from "scary world" and the same time this spell, mandala, sending signals into the void. Two monumental textile panels made by the artist manually in the combined technique of sewing, knitting, embroidery, – then fine, handmade, intimate, involving measured work, which is often called “female” in art. the Debut exhibition of young artist are simple stories: man in the mirror, a child sitting on the ground, a group of people are doing basic things. Depicted people are self-absorbed around they are not interested in, they seem to be suspended in this empty space, they are partially concealed or something. There is no clear understanding of what is happening and why, and all the action takes place in the mind of the depicted characters. They are in the contemplation of the actions of their inner world. At the exhibition visitors will have the opportunity to observe the mapping, at least 2 points of view, 2 possible scenarios. We can assume that before us — a visualized stream of consciousness of some character, his memories.

Project “7753191” identifies symptoms condition of Russian companies, which significantly strengthen the mythologizing of consciousness. The exhibition visualizes several similar rituals found in the network. Along with the sets of ingredients necessary for the successful performance of rituals, the artist creates a fake Paradise, — which was the result of the people's spells.
