contemporary art Center WINZAVOD, and the British Higher School of Design to start a series of joint shows BHSAD student work. The first exhibition – thesis 2-year photography course workshop of Kirill Preobrazhensky.

Eight students at the British Higher School of Design in their work on a thesis project received the assignment to investigate the aspect of "unspeakable” – a philosophical category, meaning something impossible to Express by means of language, because it is “something” is beyond any known discourse. In “Logical-philosophical treatise"; Ludwig Wittgenstein means by “unspeakable" as "mystical" at the same time, this phenomenon he finds the property of the existing boundaries of language: "whereof one cannot speak, thereof one must be silent", writes Wittgenstein. In conjunction a constantly evolving language and practical experience, yet this experience is not reflexed, but the value is not formulated, there will always be something that cannot be expressed in one way or another.

Kirill Preobrazhensky, curator: “Young authors in search of the boundaries of the artistic language are not always able to articulate their own language and method, an existing discourse they have not yet reflected, their first group exhibition resemble some kind of primordial soup in which interesting ideas are born and meanings that help them to formulate new questions of importance to the entire art community”.

an Important result of the thesis was to study students considering the area of "unspeakable" with different and sometimes unexpected angles.
