Opening of the exhibition Elizabeth Chuhlantseva “Cultivated weeds”

the opening of the exhibition “Cultivated weeds” was visited by the first Secretary, cultural attaché of the Embassy of the state of Israel Violeta Dyachenko and cultural attaché of the Embassy of the Republic of Austria and Simon Mraz.

Elizabeth Chuhlantseva works with the theme of childhood. The story of growing up in a residential area of Kazan becomes the background reflections of the artist about a whole generation of people born in the 1990-ies in different regions of the country. The exhibition presents photographs made in the aesthetics of family albums, sculptures, inspired by the poems of Korney Chukovsky and documentary video from the archives of Elizabeth Chuhlantseva.
