Anatoly Osmolovsky is an artist, curator and theorist, founder and rector of the Institute of “Base”, the founder and chief editor of the publishing house “Base”. Participant 45 and 55 Venice Biennale, Documenta XII in Kassel, 3-rd and 6-th Moscow Biennale. Work is in famous collections and museums both in Russia and in the West and in America. From 1987 to 1988 – member of the literary group "Vertep", 1988-1990-member of the literary-critical of the group «Ministry of PRO USSR», 1990-92 – leader of the I. E. T.
