the INTERNSHIP PROGRAM FROM EUNIC FOR YOUNG RUSSIAN CURATORS EXTENDS DEADLINE for APPLICATIONS

 

the Deadline for applications for the joint fellowship programme for young curators and Winery Association of cultural institutions of EU countries (EUNIC) extended. For Sweden and 15 April, for other participating countries until 30 April.

About:

the Foundation for the support of contemporary art WINZAVOD and the Association of institutes for culture of EU countries (EUNIC) will jointly present a program of internships for young Russian curators of art projects in 2016-m to year. The internship programme supported by the Foundation, held for the fifth time and is composed of the countries-participants of the Russian division of the Association of institutes for culture of EU countries (EUNIC Cluster Russia): Austrian cultural forum, British Council, German cultural centre n. a. Goethe, Embassy of Sweden in Moscow and the French Institute in Moscow.

EUNIC internship Programme offers young Russian curators can completely free internship in a leading cultural organisations of European countries to share their experience and to establish links with colleagues abroad.

Young Russian curators will be able to pass a two-month internship in a European partner countries: Austria, great Britain, Germany, Sweden, Romania and France. Term of internship: from end of may through August 2016. Upon completion of training, each finalist will have the opportunity to win a target grant in the amount of 3,000 euros for the realization of their own project.

the theme of the contest this year – “Imagining the future” – offers in draft form to Express their thoughts on the future that awaits us. Projects can be devoted to the topic of the future in General and its individual aspects.

2.   On the basis of demands by the representatives of EUNIC will make a primary shortlist of candidates.

3.   Institutional partners 2016 (WINZAVOD, MMOMA, YOUNG ARTIST BIENNIAL) will reduce the initial short list of candidates to a final shortlist of 3 candidates per country.

4.   Included in the short list of candidates will be invited for interviews with representatives of host organizations (via Skype), on the basis of which will be selected by the curators for internship. Date of interview will be announced on the websites of the Association EUNIC.

the Internships will take place in the period from late may through August 2016.

applicant Requirements:

·         the citizenship of the Russian Federation

·         age 23 - 35 years

·         finished a degree in arts education

·         a minimum of two years experience of curatorial practice

·         knowledge of a foreign language in accordance with the requirements of the country where you are going to train
