Do you still have the opportunity to visit the exhibition of Anatoly Osmolovsky "AVANT-garde OFFICE", which takes place at the POP/OFF/ART Gallery c on 06.12 29.10.

Presented in the exhibition objects in his detailed study of the objects are paper items, whose appearance is not changed for decades and is firmly etched in my memory of the post-Soviet person. Accuracy in execution upon closer inspection, turns a trick and gives recognizable images of absurdist cut. Rulers, it is impossible to measure, in folders it is impossible to put, and sheets of paper, which is not considered as writing accessories,  conceal noticeable only on light figure in the form of a watermark. The obvious impracticality and the game with a stamp in the works of contemporary artist Osmolovsky tells them subversive in nature, in the spirit of avant-garde manifestos of the early twentieth century. This exhibition is a specific review of theoretical works and major artistic projects of the author, devoted to the fate of the avant-garde in our time ("the Death of modernism in Russia," Anatoly Osmolovsky, in collaboration with Alexander Kulovym, with the participation of Irina Petrakova, Vitaly Barabanov, Alexander Plyusnina within the main project of the 6th Moscow Biennale of contemporary art).
