The concept of the project
"Expressions" - a series of graphic works by the artist Azat Ufa Basyrova of masks, social roles, of who we are and who we want to appear. The author does not share the common belief that we are all hidden behind a mask, do not allow to see the true essence. Masks for it is something naturally continue our essence. Azat Basyrov calls us, not trying to look "under the" pay attention to what is directly in front of us, open to understanding. To some extent equate to the essence of the mask and see the world for what it is. "Expression is everything that surrounds us. The chair design is an expression of thoughts, emotions - an expression of mood, children - parents expression ... expression - is the birth, the life, the effect of the transition from fact to fact, from the truth for the truth ... the new content. " Azat Basyrov peculiar mask, the role is at each of us. Whether it's a colorful character and a very ordinary "gray" people. In fact, to see ordinary people in the work of the series still does not work, they do not look worth it. All the characters - the essence - a very strange creatures, freaks, monsters, if you translate. On the other hand, none of the characters is not without appeal, and, moreover, the more strange or unusual looks ugly person, so it is kinder and prettier. And, conversely, the more humane than the anatomically correct person, the more ominous it looks on closer examination. That set of strange, simple or intricate features that define the "expression" on each work. The process of consideration is becoming more like a dialogue, maybe even dating. The logic of the author's clear and simple: it is possible, each of us is able to really close, to hide some of his lines from prying eyes, but putting a huge effort to create an image, a kind of mask, we will not deny that becoming someone who really characterized by these traits. Indeed, the more power we spend on creating masks, the greater becomes what we want to appear. In the world of "expressions" Azat Basyrova masks are no longer close, do not replace it, and it is a direct reflection. This unconscious, partly ideal world is in constant motion, is developing dynamically, how to develop each of the expressions, they are intertwined, some seem to be a continuation of the other, and all of them, in fact, are expressions of Azat Basyrova.
