In the exhibition hall are 4 columns, forming a square. The side of this square is 2 meters. Between the columns stretched Museum crime-scene tape. Inside the square is a podium height of 30 cm on which stands a chair. On the chair sits a man in ordinary clothes, but he wears a black cap mask covers the entire head except the eyes. Initially this person will be me. However, after about half an hour after the rally started, I'll go outside and take off your mask. Any visitor can take my place wearing a mask and sitting on a chair. Moreover this man sitting in my place will be able to obtain a certificate stating that he for a time was a work of art. My project I would like to raise 2 interrelated problems. First, the problem of identity in society. Inside the square of the person is deprived of basic that do not require electronic means, the ID - entity. That is the context deprives the principal of individuality. But even in this case, we can't deprive a person of the most important parts identification - time and its structuring. And headlining their project, "When", I want to remind people that their individuality is not only an external add-ins, but in the first place, how they structure the time. Secondly, the subject of the authorship of the art object. Now society consumes products ( in the broadest sense of the word ) which often bear the imprint of authorship. These products are made of some "faceless machine", which can be one, a hundred, a thousand people, and can be completely without people. I'm not saying it's bad or good. Apparently this is the optimal way of development of society. But in my project I want to empower people, becoming "faceless machine", not to forget that even they have a right to individuality.
