Dr. Antonio Geusa holds a PhD in Media Arts (London University, UK), a BA in Foreign Literatures (University of Bari, Italy), and a BA in Media Arts (London University, UK).

In the past few years he has been working as an independent curator, critic and lecturer. He is the biggest expert in the world of Russian video art and one of the leading figures in the field of art and new technologies in Russia, where he is based (Moscow). He is a widely published author of texts on contemporary art. Winner of the “Innovation” Prize conferred by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the National Center for Contemporary Art in the “Art Theory, Criticism and History” category. Recent work experience includes the position of Adjunct Curator, Russian Art, for the Tate Gallery, London; curator of the Kandinsky Prize nominees’ exhibition, Moscow (2013, 2014); Head of Educational Programs at the National Center of Contemporary Art, Moscow.
