In my art i'm exploring the notions of depression, parallels between art and pharmakology, as well as surviving in the capitalist competition. The project is dedicated to youthful depression and the attitude towards death of a young people in Russia.
It's a video where teenagers dances contemporary ballet to «witch house», creating a heavy atmosphere (the soundtrack used for the video is done by young Russian composer and DJ living in NY, emigrated from Russia for political reason).
On the floor before the projection from the video, a many of a plastic flowers is thrown, as if from grateful spectators. Flowers are made of a plastic battles by a deaf people, they are not able to hear the music, but they feel depressed vibes
