Winter collection of paintings from Artem K is represented by a series of conceptual portraits, woven together barely perceptible thread of continual and subordinate to a common theme – romantic narcissism. The message of this particular feeling originates from canvases using recognizable views images-egoists. Combining different artistic techniques gradually brings the viewer from the photo-realism in the portrait of Kate moss to the present pseudo image of Arnie, as if putting the question of narcissism as a pathological simulation.
