Before proceeding directly to the execution of the works, I had made work to find the images, photographing and getting to know the real disabled people on the streets (in the transitions...) in Moscow. For example, at work, "No passage" depicts a real person (Valeriy, Builder, 1964.R., disabled due to illness...), with real history. I have tried to show through the iconic symbolism, as it is difficult to adapt such as he, in the environment....the inability rather OUR (Russian) actually disabled, I mean different means of adaptation, but they are all the same as that adapted! I think many people find the strength and the ability not only to exist but also to LIVE a full life!!! What, in my opinion, says another work is "Whole". Work "Forward" in its visual structure also contains the iconic symbolism of the arrow, which symbolizes that we must move forward, not only literally, but also figuratively – LIFE goes on!!! Each of the works is divided into separate segments, as if split into parts – so I'm talking about the attitude of society (the healthy part) to people with disabilities and their problems. Maybe when our society there will be a social adaptation of invalids – "connect" and even accept in part positive, but that topic is for another series of works.
