KLPA is an annual international portrait photography competition. Websites and organizations such as Photoshelter, Format.com, Artnagrada.ru and World Photography Organization recommend the award and have repeatedly included it in the lists of the top 50 best world photo contests. This year KLPA creates even more opportunities for photographers by providing cash awards, new grants (Photo-essay Projects Grants) and reduced registration fees.

The importance of a portrait in contemporary photography depends on social relations, social recognition and the notion that we are all part of the same human family despite regional, historical and social differences.

45 finalists will participate in the final exhibition at the prestigious ILHAM Gallery (http://www.ilhamgallery.com/).

How to take part

The contest is open to photographers from all over the world, the submission of works is carried out serially by PICTER.COM, with a simple registration form. A bank card is required to pay the fees.

Jury work: May 2020. Short list announcement: June 2020. Announcement of the winners: July 2020. Award Ceremony: 12 September 2020 (ILHAM Gallery, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia).
