meeting with the Russian artist Nikita Spiridonov, whose performance serves as a field of direct art actions, and art of the Russian avant-garde material for reinvention. Together with their comrades in the group u/n multitude he combines conceptual depth with a sharp sociality. The artists themselves call their work political scores.

Political score refers to the group u/n multitude as a sequence of actions, linking artist, artwork and political context of the era in a single statement. In his latest works, the artists developing the genre of performance studies. Examples of such works are performance “Pornographic music” in the NCCA and performance-intervention “Harmonielehre”.

The meeting will be shown documentation "Concert of campaign songs”, full of u/n multitude at VIII Shiryaevo Biennale. “Concert” is a rap compilation that was created using the AutoRap app on the credit function in Russia. During a performance in Shiryaevo political score in the context of the campaign was regarded by local authorities as “calls to overthrow the authorities”.

Lecturer: Nikita Spiridonov – artist, composer, member of the group u/n multitude. Born in 1986 in Moscow. He graduated from the Gnessin state musical. Ippolitov-Ivanov in 2010 (the same graduate school) as a composer and Institute BASE in 2013 as an artist. Lives and works in Moscow.
